HRIS Selection Consultant

A healthcare organization based in the Rocky Mountains with approximately 800 employees is preparing to migrate its EHR system from Meditech to EPIC. They are seeking a consultant to lead the evaluation and implementation of a new Human Resource Information System (HRIS).


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and document current HR processes to identify system requirements for a new HRIS

  • Coordinate early-stage system evaluations, including vendor research, product demos, and stakeholder alignment

  • Manage the HRIS selection and implementation project, ensuring compatibility and integration with EPIC during the transition from Meditech

  • Oversee future data migration efforts from paper files, Symplr (ATS), Excel spreadsheets, and Meditech to the new HRIS

  • Support improvements across Time & Attendance, Recruiting, and Onboarding workflows


Additional Context:

  • The client has demoed Paylocity, BambooHR, Workday, and Paycom

  • UKG is likely to be demoed soon; ADP and Dayforce are also under consideration

  • The client is unfamiliar with HRIS best practices and requires end-to-end guidance through the selection and implementation process

  • Project is budgeted for 2026
